Secular India has witnessed a unique amalgam of different races & religions which has enriched her landscape with cultural heritage. Mughals and the Nawabs of Oudh have left memorable vestiges in religious edifices and cultural mores that constitute precious tourism products. This paper briefly comments on the contributions made by the Nawab Wazirs to Lucknow's, cultural milieu which need be conserved, protected and preserved against the eroding forces of modernisation.
