Though the artist may not be a special kind of man yet his innate temperament, idiosyncrasies and aesthetic sensibilities need special environment, attention and treatment. “Artists are born, not made,” is an age old slogan, but ‘born-artists’ are rare; the ‘made-ones’ are many.
