In the use of concrete, the application of water has to be based on a judicious compromise between strength and workability. “Vaccum concrete” claims to increase workability by using as much water as necessary. After the concrete is poured in, optimum water-cement ratio is ensured by the removal of excess water with a portable mechanical device. This is, therefore a new type of house using a new technique.
