Pragati Maidan in Delhi will be redeveloped into a world class Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) at a cost of Rs 2,254 crore. The first phase of the project is expected to be ready in about two-and-a half years. The redevelopment of Pragati Maidan as a modern, up-to- date centre for holding global conferences and exhibitions is envisaged in two phases. Phase-1 is expected to be completed by May 2019.
